17th Eurhodip Conference
Lectures & Publications
Eurhodip is the association of Leading Hotel Schools in Europe with more than 150 member schools and universities from 39 different countries. Its 17th annual Conference was organized in Zaragoza, Spain, from July 10-14, 2010.

City Marketing
City Marketing is an important phenomenon of the last decade. Major cities and provincial towns have designed marketing strategies and have started to use brands aimed at their “clients”: residents, investors and visitors. This very leaflet bears the new logo of the Zaragoza brand.
This approach - normally a joint effort by city councils and the private sector - will no doubt affect the hospitality industry in numerous ways: not only will the number of visitors, hopefully, increase, but visitors might also have different expectations, and we might even reach entire new visitors’ segments. Also, residents may change their perception of their own city and, thus, their leisure habits.

CONPEHT

A special invitation has been sent out to the member schools of the Pan-American Confederation of Hospitality, Gastronomy and Tourism Schools (CONPEHT). The 17th Eurhodip Conference thus was a splendid occasion to share ideas on hospitality education on both sides of the ocean, and to establish international cooperation.
