The event "Spaces of Transformation, Culture, and Creativty - Symposium Oberhafen HafenCity" was the kick-off of the dialogue process for the development of Hamburg's HafenCity district "Oberhafen." The event was organized by HafenCity Hamburg GmbH, Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft, and Kampnagel. It was hosted on two days in March 2011.

Participants discussed general possibilities to develop the area into an inner-city neighbourhood that specialises in culture and creative economies. For this development, a time frame of 15 years is scheduled.
